Artist's Description

The sacred place of Azteca civilization, at the four cardinal directions where once stood The Temple Mayor is now the Metropolitan Cathedral built by Cortes from the stone of the destroyed temple. This indicates the place where the plane of the world that humans live in intersect the thirteen levels of the heavens, called Topan and the nine levels of the underworld, called Mictlan.

Award winning Canadian Photographer John Bartosik, who studied at Toronto's Ryerson photo arts department was a commercial photographer serving corporate, industrial, tourism and institutional clients throughout North America. John's debut as a photographer initiated in Whistler, B.C.with the tourism industry.
