Artist's Description

The somewhat smooth and polished bedrock by the weight of the last glacial ice age contrasts against a boulder carried and dropped by the same glacier. The dark blue of the clear blue sky and the water also compliments the contrast to the orange solidity of the precambrian shield along the weathered shores of Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada.

Award winning Canadian Photographer John Bartosik, who studied at Toronto's Ryerson photo arts department was a commercial photographer serving corporate, industrial, tourism and institutional clients throughout North America. John's debut as a photographer initiated in Whistler, B.C.with the tourism industry. Surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Coast Mountains, John was inspired to continue his own personal photography, some of which was published in the first of three photo gift books titled Sea to Sky Country.
